NBC has released the official synopsis for the 8th episode of "Chuck" which airs after the Winter Olympics on March 1st at 8pm on NBC.

CHUCK GOES UNDERCOVER AS THE WORLD’S MOST DANGEROUS ASSASSIN— KRISTIN KREUK (”SMALLVILLE”) AND BRANDON ROUTH (”SUPERMAN RETURNS”) GUEST STAR—Chuck (Zachary Levi) promises to cook dinner for Hannah (guest star Kristin Kreuk), Ellie (Sarah Lancaster) and Awesome (Ryan McPartlin) but must first assume the identity of the world’s most dangerous assassin for his latest mission. EW's Ask Ausiello treated us to several "Chuck" spoilers, one of them being Brandon Routh's stint as CIA Agent Daniel Shaw has been extended for an unnamed number of episodes. Expect to see Brandon in more than 8 episodes of this season's "Chuck." Good news, Brandon/Shaw fans!

Question: I absolutely love Kristin Kreuk as Hannah on Chuck. Any idea how many more episodes she will be in this season?
Ausiello: Just one. Schwartz and Fedak confirmed that Kreuk’s arc will conclude on March 1. Meanwhile, Brandon Routh’s stay has been extended yet again, although Team um… Schwedak (?) wouldn’t provide an updated episode count.

"Batman" Director to Mentor Superman Franchise?

Updated 2/18: DC Entertainment president debunks this rumor.

The internet is in a frenzy over a rumor at Deadline Hollywood regarding director Chris Nolan ("Batman Begins," "The Dark Knight") allegedly over-seeing a Superman franchise reboot.

Warner Bros is trying to ready its DC Comics stalwart Superman to soar again on the Big Screen, and the studio has turned to Chris Nolan to mentor development of the movie. Our insiders say that the brains behind rebooted Batman has been asked to play a "godfather" role and ensure The Man Of Steel gets off the ground after a 3 1/2-year hiatus. Nolan's leadership of the project can set it in the right direction with the critics and the fans, not to mention at the box office.

CHUCK MUST PROTECT HANNAH WHEN THEY FIND THEMSELVES PARTNERS ON A MISSION - Chuck and Hannah unexpectedly become part of agent Daniel Shaws latest mission. Much to Sarahs chagrin, she gets paired with Shaw, who seems to be trying to get close to her. Meanwhile, Morgan and Ellie continue their mission to get to the bottom of Chucks secretive and strange behavior. Adam Baldwin also stars.

This will be the last episode of "Chuck" to air this month due to Winter Olympics coverage on NBC. "Chuck" returns March 1 with episode 8: "Chuck vs. The Fake Name."

There are still a few shots to polish by the good folks at Prana (our VFX partners on the film), but we should be starting the PR machine in motion while those finishing touches are put in place.

Entertainment Weekly's Mike Ausiello has some news about Brandon and Courtney on tv.

Apparently, Brandon has a shirtless scene on the March 1st episode of "Chuck."

It’s a really big deal for me. I worked out like crazy for Superman Returns, but stayed behind the leotard most of the time so you never knew just how in shape I had gotten. Then I took some time off and let my body go a little. So when I heard this shirtless scene was coming up, I worked hard to have something good to show people.

And, Courtney will be appearing in an upcoming episode of "Grey's Anatomy!" She was recently seen in the most recent season of Showtime's "Dexter."
